As a business owner for twenty three years in the transportation industry, understanding finances was imperative to my success. I thought I had it all figured out until an associate came by and analyzed my personal finances: what an eye opening experience! I had no idea there was so much to know about the world of finance.
At that time, my family’s financial future was not as secure as I had thought, so I made an immediate decision to improve. Being informed was the first step so I participated in courses to obtain both my Mutual Fund licence and my Life Insurance licence.
An advisor since November 2007, I provide guidance to clients on investment and insurance products, and maintain my knowledgebase with continuous education programs and credits. I also meet with peers at conferences and other meetings, discussing topics of the day and to keep abreast of product developments and services in the financial marketplace.
As I gained experience in the field it became my mission to help people with their finances. To this end, in discussion with my clients we determine their financial goals and objectives which allows me to provide them with options and recommendations, while explaining the risks associated with financial markets. To assist in developing a client’s investment plan, I use the Snap Projections tool, which also provides guidance for a financial roadmap allowing for any life-changing events.

I enjoy volunteering in my local community, being a member and past president of the Milverton Lions Club.
